How I started and why

Well, many years ago my mom brought home a little 3 month old labrador mix that we named Stripy. I was ten years old at the time, I was a teenager and my parents decided that I should work with the dog so that I would learn to be responsible.

We both started attending dog school training together. Despite the fact that the dog was a mixed breed, we passed the exams with good results and participated in various competitions. During this time, I started to read, study, watch videos and become interested in the profession of dog trainer. I wrote a scientific research paper on the topic "Dog - family member or toy" at school. Thanks to this study, which served as a stepping stone for choosing to become a dog trainer.

Life is life. Right out of high school, I was in an accident, which delayed my plans to study and serve in the police canine unit for several years. I didn't waste time and continued working with Stripy at home.

I did not lose interest in this profession. As part of my knowledge, I tried to help my friends with their dog training.

Years passed, I finished university and entered the State Police College. And after graduating from it, I was approved to work in the Department of Cynologists and I was given a service dog - Elton.

The first half year with Elton was motley, I had to learn how to cooperate and get along with this dog, how to find contact. Until now, I had no experience with serious dogs like Elton. I did not know what it means that a dog can bite, be aggressive towards other dogs, animals, not to mention people. A dog I couldn't trust because I didn't know when and what reaction to expect from him!

Experience has only grown over the years, I have learned new things, new methods and approaches to each dog. At the moment, when I have four dogs, I can say that each of my dog is different, each has its own character, each has its own approach and its own way of cooperation. And believe me, no dog is interested in your wishes, every dog also has its own, that's why you have to make efforts to work together so that the dog and you are like one team.
